"All's well that ends well"...
Shakepeare said this long time ago, but it's still a refreshing saying, especially for those who have spent a year filled with few ups and many more downs, just like in my case.
As you all might have clearly noticed, indeed, this year was for me exceedingly busy and thus I had to dedicate time for my art accordingly to this matter of fact.
Anyway, school is now definitely over and plus, I turned 18 (with a two-days lasting party full with astonishing surprises) just a few days ago (on the 6th of June).
This means I have the whole summer to immerse myself deeply in the subtle art of writing.
I plan to publish here two poems hastily composed (and thus not completed yet) during late school period (April/ May) and nearly a heap of short stories, which I elaborated now and then but never had the chance of writing down.
But first and foremost, this time I won't allow another tasty chance of writing or competing in my field (literature, of course

) to slip through my fingers again.
This year I got involved in only two poetry contests with my school (I lacked inspiration due to emotional and physical stress), and I wasn't able to win a prize in none of them (what a shame)... I am well-determined to partecipate at my best to two poetry contests this summer (one of which is national) and I wish I can continue to set the plot of my interrupted most important work (a gothic novel), even thanks to the inspiration I'll hope to gain from my journey to London (I'm really looking forward to it!!), where I might find much of the various and vast information I need.
In the meantime, I want to celebrate these wonderful incoming events and my personal long-desired relax by offering my readers a new poem dedicated to the Night.
As usual, there may be some different nuances of meaning between the original work (in Italian) and the English translation: in case you want to suggest anything about it, feel free to let me notice it, as I always said for all my previous works.
Enjoy
